WE ARE A SUPPORT GROUP FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
We are a private group for families to fellowship, share and lean on one another while our Soldiers are in Basic Training at Fort Moore, GA. With each other's support, we can help our Army Family members make it through the difficult times of our Soldiers being away from home. We believe the best source of information regarding your Trainee/Soldier is the Official Company/Troop Facebook page along with their Commander's Letter for their specific Company/Troop. Our goal is to support and guide. We also value our Veteran members and their knowledge, experience and assistance they give to our members who have loved ones in training. These Veteran and "beyond" members have Soldiers who have graduated from training at Fort Benning/Moore. We continue to support them as well, as they remain members in our Army Family Support Group. In Remembrance of Zachary A. Bates, our Hero in Heaven.

Meet the Team
Tim & Julie Bates
Kristie Beier - Amanda Zimmerman - Molly Pagel - Krisy Suarez
Liz Middleton - Ivette Hutchins - Norma Sides
Your Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), GA - U.S. Army Basic Training Support Admin and Moderator team is a well rounded blend of Active and National Guard family across a variety of MOS. We are passionate about helping new families through this process.
We are the ones who will greet you as you begin this journey. Our job is much like that of an airport. We gather everyone who has loved ones coming in to Fort Moore to train. With each individual, everyone has a different need. Your Trainee/Soldier may have a different MOS (Army job) than others within the group. Our job is to help you as you navigate what is initially happening, what Company or Troop they train with, where to find information, and guide you to the correct Family Support group for your Trainee/Soldier. We share links relevant to your needs, inspiration, guidance, love, and understanding. We are all volunteers and are dedicated to supporting you.
We are further supported by our Mod Squad, a group of dedicated moderators that help with our vast network of individual family support groups. Your Mod Squad team is a powerhouse with first hand experience of the BCT, AIT, and OSUT process. They are armed and ready to answer your questions.

Meet Our Amazing Individual Family Support Group Moderators & Admins
Moderators assist individual family groups based on their specific Company/Troop they are assigned to. They walk through the training side by side with you all 22 weeks and guide you. They share resources, links, and knowledge to assist you in understanding what your Trainee/Soldier is experiencing on his/her journey to become part of the US Army. They show love, patience and compassion as they assist you through your Army journey. Their goal is to have your back, so you, in turn can be strong and knowledgeable and have your Soldier's back. Each Moderator is a volunteer. They do this because they find true value and joy in assisting families, friends and loved ones during and even after OSUT training. It is their way of indirectly supporting our American soldiers through supporting you.
